An Explosion of Light is Coming to San Francisco

Mar 29, 2023

During a time of prayer, the Lord gave me a powerful picture.

I saw the light of dawn breaking over the hills of San Francisco. As I watched, the glow of daybreak gathered into a thundering tidal wave of glory, an earth-shaking release of the power of God. I could almost feel the ground quaking violently beneath me as the picture played out.

I saw multitudes of people, many of whom were turned towards the light. When the supernatural sunbeams hit them, their hair flew back in a mighty gust of wind and they lifted their faces with closed eyes, peacefully soaking in the majesty of God.

But there were others who wanted to escape the light. I knew that these were enemies of God, those who hated truth and had devoted themselves to Satan’s strategies. Their eyes began to burn from their sockets, their faces unable to withstand the glory. Reminiscent of Raiders of the Lost Ark, their countenances melted in the heat of the omnipotent beams.

Then the Lord said, “There is an explosion of light coming to the West. A battle cry is being released. A fierce cry. Angelic hosts engaging in heavenly warfare. A division is taking place: sheep from goats. Wise virgins from foolish. I am tearing up poisonous roots from the ground.”

I believe that battle lines are now drawn as the Lord prepares to release His glory over San Francisco. Strongholds and schemes of the enemy which have bound that region in darkness for decades will be exposed and melt like wax. The enemies of the Lord will be unable to withstand His radiant light. But those who put their trust wholly in Jesus will bask in the unrivaled majesty of His presence!

I can hear Jesus declaring over San Francisco, “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples, but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” (Isaiah 60:1-3)

This post marks a shift to a new focus. My journey from crafting storied teachings to sharing prophetic words has been a winding road of discovery. Although I enjoyed the process of putting to paper the brief biographical sketches which filled my blog from 2014 to 2017, I gradually realized that God was bringing a transition to my voice. In the interim, I’ve been studying Scripture regarding the gift of prophecy and pursuing training and growth in that gift. In 2021 I co-founded The Prophetic Collective, a ministry dedicated to forging the character of emerging prophets while providing support and accountability in the journey. It’s been such a joy to take this trail with Jesus, and it’s a delight to reconnect with you, dear reader! I’m always in awe of how He leads those who follow Him, and I look forward to uncovering what’s around the bend.

Into the Wilderness has just been published!

Tiffany brings us face-to-face with the reality that the heat of our desert is no match for the love of our Savior. Into the Wilderness reminds us that even in the bleakest of life’s landscapes, hope can flourish.

“Throughout the entire book, I found myself internally shouting, ‘Yes and amen!’ with tears rolling down my face, as I experienced the Lord’s presence, conviction, and hope.”
Rev. Alicia R. Jackson, PhD, Assoc. Prof. of Old Testament, Vanguard University
